Talking Instrument Panel Lights

does anyone know an easy way to change the bulbs on the instrument panel (95 ranger)....or is this something that involves tearing apart the dash

Cool

Unfortunately, you have to pull the panel to do this, but it's well worth it. Give yourself a day to do it. I did it with all the wonderful help I received on this site from Ken, Ranger95 and JObeto and others whom I've forgotten. To retrieve this information, scroll to the bottom of this page and find the "Search For" tab. Type in "Instrument Panel Lights". Once you're in the thread scroll down to my name and "Instrument Panel Lights". Read this thread all the way through and you will find detailed instructions on how to do this. Also the Haynes Manual has a lot of info on how to remove the bulbs once you have the Instrument Panel in hand. I replaced all the bulbs with new ones when I had the panel removed. I also replaced the burnt out bulb on the headlight switch when I had the dash opened up. It's great to once again have all the lights working. Good Luck!
