All ford small block heads have the same spark plug angle except for the GT-40P heads. Gt-40P heads are different than GT-40 heads. Ford did change spark plug size from the early to later model heads but thats all that is different.
I am not sure what you mean by an assembly but early heads had adjustable rocker arms and the later model heads had non-adjustable rocker arms. The rockers are seperate from each other. The FE motor family had the rail type rocker arms.

I have newer heads on this motor, wasn't sure what I had. I do have the non adjustable rail type. The reason I asked is in the lmc book, they show rockers listed as seperate parts, but mine are all together in a row.
