OK. A little road mileage figured in there too. Sorry, I thought that you meant strictly off-road driving. Do you have a chip in that Ford of yours? Thats pretty impressive economy for a PSD.
Bigsilver95. It looks like you get excellent mileage on your truck.
Looking at your gallery you don't baby this truck either. In one picture it looks like you the motor is under water. Hope no damage was done. How is the truck holding up for you. Any mud bogs or tug of war contests.
No, i 50/50 baby and hard drive, it sees it share of crap, but for themost part, day to day driving i am pretty easy on it. And if you check some other websites, www.ford-trucks.com i get pretty everage mileage. Yeah, i just did a mud bog and tug this weekend, got my butt kicked by a 460 powered bronco with 44" boggers. It seems not damage to the motor, although the front end went **** up, hence the d60 in it now. i shut the truck off and it rolled into the water.
Don't feel to bad about gettin beat by that Bronco. The S.W.B. of that truck gives him a huge advantage. That 460 he's got in there
doesnt hurt either. With those big tires he has and the power he
has hard combination to beat. Do you have any pickup pulls in your area that pull stock pickups of the street. 100 miles from where i live they do just that. lots of late model pickups pull there.
Get to see how the powerstrokes fair against the duramaxes and
Dodge cummins. They had unlimited weight class for the heavyweight pickups. One guy had this F-350 R.C. P.S.D. with every power option on that truck. Had 15500lbs of weight on that truck. Suitcase weights stacked in the cab of that pickup in the bed as well as the front of the truck. That was quite a pull to watch. The rear end of that truck was almost touching the ground
when that truck finally stopped. I thought that truck would break in half or the motor disintegrate. Didnt happen though. A full pull forthat truck plus 30ft into a cornfieldBlew away the competition.
Talking withn the owner of that truck afterwards. asked hurt anything. Nope he said. Done this before nothing new. That is one for the ages. THAT IS ONE TOUGH FORD. I can't wait until the
pull season start. Thanks for reading.
