lift ?'s

I have a 2000 4x4 offroad and have been wanting to to put a lift and bigger tires on it. I mostly use it for hunting and dont really want to bottom out anymore. My question is what size lift and tires do you guys recommend. I want to go with a suspension but i dont want to go to big to where i start running into prob. I was thinking between a 4-6 inch But i wasnt sure of what brands to go with. I dont know what you all need such as longer DS and break hoses but im sure the shop would let me know.It also has to be a good one because it will be used for offroading. Also about how much are shops charging to put such a lift on these trucks. Let me know what you guys have and what u have had probs with....Thanks a lot Greg

shops will charge too much, if you can do it yourself...most kits come with instructions. body lift are a lot easier. if you just need a few inchs, lift the body and that will give you room to put some bigger tires on (33s) and that will give you the clearance. If you want it done right then go with the suspension. lift first then tires.

go with fabtech, they make a 6" suspension for your truck, the kit cost about 1600 plus labor hard to say how much they will charge u. you could do it yourself, if you have the time and all the right tools...good luck with your search
