I was hoping someone could help with what to do on determining what the problem is on my explorer in relation to my blower motor.
Mainly my problem is that my fan only works when it wants to. I mean that even though my switch is turned to an on position the fan goes on then goes off......now it will be off for a whole entire trip of being in the car. whether its 15 min or an hour. There is no squeaking noise or any odd sounds, just no air being blown into my truck. Just wanted to know what i should do to find the problem and what i need to fix it......thank a million!!!!!!
Replace its relay. In the high power distribution panel right behind the battery. Get it from Ford and specifically ask for the blower motor relay. Yes, it matters. This is a case when getting the part from the dealer is the ONLY way to go, trust me.
