This may sound to yall, but I was thinking about making a dual exhaust for my truck. I was thinking about finding a Y pipe and putting it on the exit of the muffler. Then buying some of that flex exhaust pipe and routing it to the back and buying chrome tips(NOT the huge ricer ones) to make a dual exhaust. Does this sound too stupid to work? I dont want to buy another muffler with dual exits. Also, is there anything I should know before atempting this and will it last?

 

It sounds like you are lining youreself up for disaster. Flex tubing is crap, there really is no way around it. Youre local exhaust shop should be able to fab up a dual set for a couple hundred.
