exhaust headers
i have a '70 f-100 custom w/390 block and a 2bbl motorcraft.
4 the exhaust i have dual 2 3/4 inch pipes with dual flowmasterers, i want 2 buy new headers, which ones are going 2 give me the most HP for my buck?

i know u can order flowtech headers thru a parts store like autozone for about $110. a lot on here have said theyre a good brand. any headers at all should make a big difference over those awful manifolds

I got some headman 89100's. They work fine, but the installation was a pain. I had to remove the starter to get the header in...
And guess what, if my starter ever goes out, I have to remove the header to get at the starter.
If I was doing it all over again, I'd look for a header that clears that starter etc...
I know there at least one out there, some one mentioned it. I don't remember which brand. Someone will fill us in.

go wit the hookers, headmans are thinner, and won't last as long. The thinner the header, the faster the collecters give out. I would spend the extra now for quality, otherwise you will spend it later on a replacement set.
