Overhead console? Storage woes
Grettings, y'all. Just bought me a 99 F-150 4X4 ext cab with 72K miles for $10,500 (money talks!) Thing's got no storage spots in the cab, though. I got just about everything I own stuffed in that little cubby hole in the dash and in the ashtray. While I was looking around, I saw a 98 ext cab that had been through some conversion (similar to mariah on bow-ties) and it had the killer overhead console from the windshield to the interior light (integrated) with all kinds of nooks and crannies up there for all kinds of stuff - little spring loaded doors and such.
The ones that go where the visors connect are everywhere, but I cannot for love or money find this one that goes down the middle. Anyone have any clues? THANKS!

Hmmmm. Close. Thanks for the link - I'm gonna bookmark it for posterity. The one I'm referencing was real aesthetically pleasing - color coded, nice compartments on either side, overhead lights integrated, etc. I'm looking for something that will work, which is why I'm bookmarking that one

Maybe - I'll have to go to the local stealership and see what you are talking about, jff.
Commander, I have been to that site and liked what I saw. There is this one that I saw in a truck that looked so good, I wanted to scream. It looked totally stock - very nice. It's just gnawing at me and I want to find it.

I'll be all kinds of danged! I found one on eBay! The one I saw had the wood completely slicked down and painted to match the color of the interior, whereas this one is not. Believe you me, it looked tough as nails in the truck.
