Please help with Cd player problem

ok boys i got a question for you'll ok i have a 91' ranger and i put a sony xplode head unit in it, but i have a problem when ever i shut off the truck and then i restart it it earsies everything like the time and ect. soi have to restet it everytime, the wires from the truck have a line named memory output but if i run that it will keeep the cd player on contantly please help need help so if you know anything please post

Are you refering to your 12V constant? You should have a yellow and a red wires, one is the Ignition wire, the other is the 12V constant. Both of them should be hooked up. If you hook it up right, it shouldn't be on constantly.

Talking cd problem

ok,you should have a yellow and red wire for power. one wire is your constant that should go to a constant power source such as headlight fuse under the dash and one should go to a fuse line that turns off with the car like your wiper fuse that way your radio has a constant power source...
