I have a V10 and use both the Lucas Oil fuel treatment and oil additive. The fuel treatment is actually an oil that goes in the fuel. I use 6 oz of the fuel treatment each time I fill up with gas. I had a pinging problem, which appears to have stopped since I started using the fuel treatment. I also use the oil additive with each oil change. It's a thick oil like STP. I bought both products online by the gallon at Interstate Turbo. Theirs was the lowest price I found. A 6 oz bottle of the fuel treatment goes for about $3.00 at the store. A gallon of fuel treatment was around $15.00 plus shipping. Much cheaper by the gallon. I think you can use the fuel treatment in diesels, but don't remember about the oil additive.
