Hi,
At christmas time my old man bought a 1999 ranger, and I have to admit, it's a total blast to drive. I love it's low powerband and it even let me spank a V-8 powered yukon. But there is one thing that has caught my curiousity, which rear end and gear choices would it have?

The truck is again, a 1999, 4.0, automatic, XLT, extended cab, flareside, rear wheel drive...

Any help would be great,

Your gonna have to get underneath and look at the axle tag to be sure. A little one inch tag attached to one of the bolts on the rear axle cover.
