I have a 97 F150 with a 4.6 in it. 3 days ago the check eng. light started blinking then stayed on. The truck eng. is bumping when stop. As I go down the road it seems to bump or sputter as I speed up. It I floor it the eng. runs fine. At speed on the Hwy the eng. again seem to sputter and bump. If I let up on the gas a little the eng. runs fine for the moment. The check eng. light comes on and off while driving. I do not belive the truck is missing. When I start the truck in the morning ( avg temp now 15deg.) the eng seem to run fine. I thing that the problem is somewhere in the fuel air mix. Any ideas????
