Does anybody know where I can find a set of the turbine or hurricane style wheels that were so popular years ago? I believe that American Racing made them at least up until the late 80's but they no longer make anything even similar. Western also made them but they are long gone. I'd like a set of 15x8 or 15x10 for and 88 F-150.
I believe they called the ones on my old '82 Hurricane II's but I'd consider either style. We should probably should take this off-list so as to not offend anyone. PM me and we can exchange email addresses and pictures and stuff.
i liked that style wheel, dont know why they have discontinued it. my other favorite is the 'ol allumminum slot, the closest thing you can get to it now is the m/t challenger, which dont look too bad. ive thought about trying crager s/s on my ranger but i dont know if my front hubs will fit through the rim where the cap would go.
Im buying a new set of wheels this summer and will be putting my Tubines up for sale..But ..I have a 70 F250..with 8 lugs.....I have the 1200x16.5s bfgs on the rear and 10.00 16.5s on the front... If you want to see my wheels you can check out my truck in my gallery!! good luck on your Hunt..there getting hard to find...Russ
