Question superchips 1715

I'm thinking about buying the superchips 1715 for my 1998 F150 4.6 4x4 and am wondering if it can also program my wife's 2003 F150 5.4 4x4?

I forgot to mention the 5.4 will not work on the 4.6 and vice versa. Also each tuner can only work on one vehicle at a time. The tuners are seriously worth every penny tho.

According to the box my tuner came in, the 1715 works on 1996 to 2003 4.6, 5.4 and also the V10 but only one vehicle at a time. You have to return one vehicle to stock tune before tuning another vehicle.

you have to send it back and get it re-set.....It saves the 1st tuned vehicle...will not work with another until re-set. Costs in the mid $200's

I am also thinking of getting the superchip programmer for my truck. I have a 2001 f250 superduty with a 5.4. I would like to know if there is a noticable difference. Or is there a different brand that I should look at.

You don't have to send it back, you can return the vehicle to stock tuning and then use it on another vehicle. If you do not restore the 1st vehicle to stock, then it would need to be sent back.
