new to broncos
I am about to purchase my first bronco after owning many ford pickups. it an 89, 5.0, auto,a/c,ps,pb. 2 things. one im really not sure wether it is the overdrive trsnny or the c-6. does anyone know wich auto they put in that year of bronco???, and has anyone had problems with the removable top leakin, and if so what is the best fix???. im picking this one up for $1800,wich i think is a pretty good deal. ive already test driven it but forgot to see if it was o.d.

Welcometo FTE, the key to not having top leak is protection of the seals in storage when you have it off. I learned that from this wonderful site, there have been numerous posts on this topic in this forum. Run a search on 'topless' and the like, you'll find what you need here. Enjoy your Bronco! -wb
