Alot of time and patient and a whole lot of imagination. Once one person figures it out I believe people will start doing these swaps but everyone is waiting on someone else to do it first.

Man, everyone is getting lucky around here. That one guy that got a free bronco and motor and other stuff mentioned. And you get a $500 V10, you are so lucky. Burn 'em up for us when she's done! -wb

lucky man, that is a smoking engine choice, It might be worth it for some of us to drive to this shop, wherever it is, just to put in a new motor. All I need is a powerstroke...

ohrtman19 . since you are the first to be doing something like this to a bronco, it would be great if you could just camp out at the shop and take as many pics as possible. or ask them to, just tell them that if they are successful it could make them lots of money in the future being the first shop to complete this conversion.

Just something to think about .

What are the hp and ft/lb numbers on the V10? Everyone makes it sound as if the Broncos have some week frames on here, 78-79 had 460 in them. Are 1980 and newer frames tht weak? Just asking.

78-79 never came factory with 460s. The biggest they came with is the 400. People have swaped in 460 on 78-79s and 80 and above. Personally, I havent found a weak spot on 80-86 broncos.
