Some say it takes a bit before some tires wear in and handle.

Bad tires or not enough air in them.....I have 1000 lbs on front and 800 in back and it drives the same as if it were empty.

I've also read somewhere that it could possibly be frame problems. Any thoughts?

Hummmmm Steering box. Just cause they did an alignment doesn't mean much. You have to get under there and check everything out...Or someone who knows Fords real well.

Good luck

I wouldn't think so, unless you had a bad wreck at one time.

I stuffed mine a few times, the last time the front rails were off by 9" and it still drove pretty dam well.

you've got me going on that steering box theory because the p.s pump was replaced on this vehicle and there is a little play in the wheel without the tires moving!but the tie rods are like brand new.The track bar is tight etc.
