Cross-shaft diameter question
Okay, guys, I won't bore you with the agonizing details of why I'm trying to figure this out, but for the following truck:
2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L 4x4, open differential, NON-FX4
what is the rear axle spline count and pinion cross-shaft diameter?
I'd thought it was 28-spline and 3/4", but now I've been led to believe the cross-shaft diamter is 7/8". Do any of you have the definitive answer?
