What a disgusting class. I need to take it to graduate, and it's killing me.
I chose Criminal Justice as my major because I figured that there wouldn't be any math to worry about, and even if there was, it wouldn't be too involved.
Now I'm two-knuckle-deep in standard deviation and it's driving me insane...
I'm a Mechanical Engineer and at the time I really didn't appreciate having to take a required class in digital circuit theory and design (including the lab). I also didn't get off on the final exam, where one of the questions required me to design a cruise control system for a car (but I did get it right, YEEHAWWWW!!). On the other hand, now that it's over I'm really glad that I took it; I like having a background in this area. It has benefited me on the job as well as my hobbies.
I'm still in mechanical engineering and i took digital circuits last semester...hated it with a passion...still do, but i'm glad to hear that it might come in handy some day
I recall my first stat course. I was looking for an easy three hours to fill my schedule and figured, "What can be hard about statistics?" Boy, did I find out.
