Truck won't start - Help!
I'm looking for some help before I start buying parts. My truck wouldn't start last night - the battery is fine, no blown fuses, the radio doesn't come on. I hot wired it by shorting the starter solenoid and it runs fine, but still won't start. Is it possible the programming for the key got messed up or should I look elsewhere? I was thinking the ignition switch might be bad since the radio won't come on, but I really don't have much experience with Ford trucks.
Any ideas?

Hi Michael and welcome to FTE 
Did you get it figured out yet?
If there is a problem with the key the "theft" light on the dash will flash quickly while you try starting it but the starter will still turn over.

Thanks for the help, it was the starter solenoid. It just seemed a little wierd with the radio not working, and I was worried maybe the PATS key was causing a problem. Back on the road now though. I appreciate your help!
