TrailHead 4x4 Conversion
hi, i'm new to the board and this my first post.
I'm the owner of a 2000 Ranger Trailhead. Ynow the prerunner type Ford made a few years ago? Well i bought the truck when i lived in NC but im in New York now and would like to have a 4X4 daily driver (the chevy 2500 work truck i got is killing me on gas this winter). I really love this vehicle and wanted to know if there were any kits made to convert Rangers to 4x4. Keep in mind the truck already has a lift from the factory because of the pre-runner package. Are there any bolt on kits? How much do they run price wise? Any info any you guys have would be greatly apreciated.

No kits....especially when factory 4x4s are widely available. That answers most of that paragraph.
There is a post in the Exploder forum where I gave a site for a 2wd to 4wd Exploder swap. Find it. You'll pretty much go through the same issues as that guy did.
