97 Explorer 5.0 AWD
Any Ideas may help the cause:
I recently noticed that when I am turning (usually left) and slightly accelerating that I get a very weird sensation comming from the rear end. It seems like the rear axle is slipping or that it is pulling away from the vehicle. The fluid was changed about 6 mo. ago. 80w-90 hypoid was used as well as 4oz of limited slip additive. I saw in the Haynes manual they referenced LIMITED SLIP BREAK AWAY but no mention as to what that means. Hope that someone can help.
