Dell Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz "Extreme Edition"
2 Gigs RAM
ATI Radeon 9800XT video card (256MB RAM onboard)
DVD Burner
That's all I can remember for now. I plugged in Battlefield 1942, cranked up all the graphics and sound settings, and it still runs faster than watching a movie!
Nah, it's a Dell. It replaced my Alienware (piece 'o junk)
Don't buy into the hype - Alienware has become far too bloated for their own good. Prices went way up (as if they already weren't high enough) and customer service went way down (unless you speak spanish).
They should change their name to "Illegal Alienware".
They replaced all my burned out components, but what gets me is the fact that I've never had so many components malfunction in my Dells. In my Alienware, in the three years I've had it, I've had to replace 2 hard drives, 3 cd burners, 1 sound card, and 2 monitors (my current moniter is starting problems as well. Time to call the hombres at Alienware so they can send this gringo a new monitor).
Sure, it's not too bad since everything's under warranty, but when you calculate having to call Alienware, have them ship the part, and then start over, it's a real PITA. None of the Dells I had before every gave me any trouble.

Interesting....
Either way, all the stuff works now and I'm selling it on Ebay.
Alienware said it was a 420watt power supply. I don't know what that means, but it's apparently enough.
It means that if you had other equipment on the circuit, that the Alien wasn't operating at peak. Thats why it burned stuff out. I have a dedicated circuit on what strated out as a cheapo gateway and I have had zero problems with equipment failure.
