I've just return from a year in Iraq (what a relief) and can't wait to continue working on my F-100. I was suprised to see after a year the battery still had power enough to turn over the engine however, not enough to spark the electrical system. I've been contemplating trading my fiberglass hood for a steel one. Today i ordered the reverse MMB kit from Mid-fifty. Has anyone tried the reverse on a fiber glasss hood, if it doesn't work I'll just go with the steel hood.
Jaye
welcome back home jaye. i bought that kit for my truck. i couldn't imagine trying to put it on a glass hood. mine is steel and i almost gave up trying to get it to fit. my wife took the hammer away from me before i did too much damage. finally got it to work. i talked to some of the guys heading to the super nats last year and they said they had the same problem. it's hard to get everything to line up correctly, but it can be done. there is so much adjustment in the front end of these trucks.
