brakes need oomph
I recently replaced the booster and the master cylinder in my project. The brakes still require a good bit of effort on my part. The brakes were completely rebuilt at the wheel level no more than about 2000 miles back. Factory Drum/Disc setup.
I'm running a pretty big cam, but not too big on the duration so the vacuum is actually pretty good. It's 20+ while crusing.
Any ideas?

Greg, are you running disc or drum brakes? Brake shoes are not always arced to the drum, and that'll increase your pedal pressure. If there was a drop or two of water in the brake lines that could be sticking a wheel cylinder. You've done a great job on your truck.
