Hey folks Hope everybody is having a lovely day. I want to take my family to Disneyworld in Orlando Fl. this July for vacation, but really don't know any places to stay where the prices aren't outrageous. Does anyone have any suggestions?
It's been a few years since I've been there, but look for the hotels around Lake Buena Vista or Walt Disney World Village. Although not right on Magic Kingdom grounds, they are on Disney property, just a few miles away, so you can jump on one of their shuttles and be there in no time. If this is no longer the case, I hope someone jumps in and corrects me.
I hate to sound like a comercial but try places like Hotels.com and others. Your best bet is to try those places to get a good deal cause most Hotel/Motels are'nt cheap in the mouse house.

There are more hotels on state road 192 than you can count and every one will tell you how far they are from Disney. The fraffic is not bad so even ten miles away isn't far to drive. I normally get some thing along 192 and it works just fine.
i just got back from orlando today, 15 1/2 hour drive, was there for the World of concrete convention, becareful of what hotel/motel that you choose, i stayed at a travel lodge, because every thing else was booked, usually stay at hamptons ,redroof inn, or even motel 6, (small but clean) the travel lodge , i was very disapointed, i don,t recomend them. its well worth the extra money stay at the nicer places, when calling for pricing, ask what extra's they have, pool's discounts, shuttles, breakfast discount's. also look into vacation packages, just my .02 worths and give minne a kiss for me ,when you see her
p.s. checkout the Delta orlando hotel, very reasonable, great for the kids, and 3 nice swimming pools, hottubs for the adults, food , everything you need, they cater to familes like FTE, the foods good too . less than 5mins from everything, not over priced, (you can haggel ~hint hint~the prices, ) say its a buisness trip) look it up on the web, let us know what you find.
