Drivetrain swap

I have an '82 F100, reg cab, lwb, 2wd. It has the small 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern rear axle and brakes. 300/C6 powered. I have redone my body and have boxed the rear of my frame. The problem with the frame is that it is getting rusty and is either going to require sandblasting and reinforcing or replacement. I have a chance to buy a rolled '93 F150 with same wheelbase dimensons and the fuelie 4.9/auto. My question is, has anyone swapped chassis from an new truck into an older F-series?

What I want to do is keep all my F100 interior, dash, wiring (except what needs to be added for the 4.9L computer), and sheet metal. What I want to add is the '93 frame, suspension, and drivetrain. Essentually, '93 F150 with an '82 F100 body and appointments. Any comments or tips would be appreciated.

Josh

I have seen Corvettes, Pintos, Ramblers, Vegas, and lot's of other strange things, put on 4wd truck frames, so what you want to do ought to be fairly simple.
I suspect it will be a bit time consuming though
