56 F100 weight

don't know exactly...but stock would probably be in the very near vicinity of 3500 - 4000 # depending on tires/wheels/.etc
the spec book on the 53 show GVW at 4000 to 4800 ( actual weidht + payload....depending on tires/wheels note says for v-8 add 85 # to front and total weights..
it lists total weights between 3240 and 3270 with fuel and water
I think the '56 were a shade heavier..

Thanks for all the replies, gives some idea as to what I need for similar power as my 5.0 Mustang. That might be a little hard as this M100 will be abit heavier then the 88 Mustang. Looks like a 351 W for a start. Will the 351 be lighter then the Y block and the C6 will be heavier the the 3 speed standard. Thanks again to all.
