i really dont like them..gives a bad name to the bronco i think..i think a newer form of it just like the 2004 f-150 is in order..that would look really cool, but, not this one
seems to be more of a chick suv to me..a rich one..and about 20
a girl i know when she first started to drive..her dad had a bronco and i used to kid her all the time cus she was gonna get it to drive..and she hated it..not the prettiest..86 or so, with brown/white paint..and she LOVES the new bronco..she told her dad the other day she wanted to get a bronco now.but yea, its not really a "bronco" just a name on this one
quote from carbc.com: What would be wrong with modeling the new Bronco after a new F-150? Thats what the last Bronco looked like.
I have to agree with this poster. It looks too much like the Hummer or the new Jeep. I own an 89 Fullsize Bronco and I would miss the cargo room. The Bronco has been following the F-150.Why the change?
Well i kinda like it.I look at it and the gears start too move, lift, bigger tires, bullydog system.I'd rather see another ford on the road than something else. How many people here ride stockers.I think i could trick one up that most people would like and too me that's what it's all about. What stock truck really meets your needs without a little help from it's owner.
Well said wiggit. I'd like to see a F-250 Bronco, I know you guys have seen the Excursion-Bronco conversations on the internet. I like those. But then again, a F-150 based one wouldn't be bad either. If they made that toy, it wouldn't be long before a spare tire relocate kit came to the market, that wouldn't be a problem there. It just looks like you can only sit and look at it, that if you took it truely off-road it'd break on something a stock truck could handle. Of course, it is only the concept. I'll shut up now. -wb
I have to agree with geneb on this. I have kind of mixed feelings on this one. I would love to see a new f-150 or super duty based bronco with the same approximate proportions as what the 78-96 broncos had. In my mind they are the perfect size, and I just bought my second one because there is no other vehicle out right now that meets my needs as well as a bronco does, cargo room, towing ability, looks, toughness, off road ability, and aftermarket support. If this concept bronco came out, I would most likely not be interested because it would be too small to meet my needs. However, I also know that the Original Bronco was based on a smaller platform, and is what paved the path for the near cultlike Bronco following, this concept pays great homage to that first bronco.
yes, the first broncos are cool and this is what it is modeled after, but as for sharing metal with the f150, I couldnt agree more. there is a pic in my gallery that personifies all of what we WANT to see from a new bronco, but sadly, all of the SUVs that ford makes start with an "E", and EBronco just sounds stupid
i agree with fordnut the new bronco i think is supposed to show the old 60s and early 70s bronco, i would like to see how they would do off road but i dont think id buy one id just drive my girlfriends, cause it does look like a chick suv and ill stick with my 90
FULL SIZE!! I love the early bronco's, but the full-size is definitely the way for me, 5.4 V8, the V10, or a Powerstroke diesel are the only options, showing manual transmissions for the V8 and the Powerstroke if wanted, straight axles, 33" all-terrains stock, Warn manual Hubs, and HID headlights, that would be one fine beast!!
