auto 2 manual
i just picked up a 8/89(90 mod) BII 2.9/A4LD with auto locking hubs,what is involved in swapping to manual ones??I have a set from a 88.Do you just take off the auto ones and install the manual ones??or is there more to it. Thanks

you have to change the spindle nuts as well
keep in mind when removing the auto hubs that there is a keyway keeper in the little slot on the spindle that has to be removed
if it is not removed and you try to undo nut spindle damage will occur
just get a haynes manual and it gives you directions for taking hubs off and putting on
not for swap but has info for both
