cold blooded, but beautiful when warm
So my problem is that when cold, on light acceleration, the vehicle will either just completely cut out and die, or there will be a small backfire, and then it will keep running (but very rough). If the vehicle does the backfiring thing, it takes just a second, and then the engine will start running smoothly again. It is literally impossible for a smooth slow acceleration from a stop when the motor is cold. If I kind-of double pump the accelerator, then I can keep it running, but its one heck of a take off...
Once the truck warms up (10 minutes of driving) it doesn't miss a beat. Carb has been adjusted, and the truck idles fine. Just curious if this is a common enough of an occurance to get some info on where to start.
Thanks in advance...
