ABS light flashes, won't shift into drive
I have a '97' F140 4x4, When I start the truck, the ABS light begins flashing and continues to flash, NO Brake lights, Tranny will not shift from "park to Drive. 5.4 and automatic tranny. Any help will be appreciated.

check the fuses if that doesn't solve the problem it's the switch on the brake pedal this controls the brake lights, cruise, and shift interlock actuator. the best way to check fuses is with a test light, ground light turn ignition on and probe contacts on back of fuses if it lights on only one side fuse is bad if it doesn't light on either side power isn't going to circuit.
