Throttle spacer ?

Throttle spacer ?

Anybody have any experience with throttle spacers? I'm thinking of a Airaid or Powerdyne for my 87 302. Waste of money or should I go for it???

I ran one on a 01 F150, and it turned out to be a waste of time and money. It also created a "whine" at certain rpm ranges due to the helix in the intake. I believe it was an Airaid. You should do a search on the spacers, they have been mentioned here before.

the best thing to do is save your money just alittle bit ago there was a thread about them was looking into one for myself didnt take long to change my mind the best thing to do is buy a bbk twin 56mm throttle body you will be very pleased with it

From my understanding the only time you will see any difference would be at the extreme high end of the RPMS, which our trucks almost never spends time there, so no difference.
