Now I understand why you guys like your Super Duties so much. I took delivery on mine last week and I feel like my ##### just grew 3 inches. Cheaper than an implant. Anyway---
I was surprised to see that the transducer units, for the reversing sensor alert system, were mounted on the surface of the rear bumper instead of being recessed. In fact they protrude about 3/4 of an inch, just begging to be crunched in my local Wal-Mart parking lot. Are these transducers more rugged than they look or inexpensive enough that it doesn't matter?
I was thinking more about times that my truck is parked and is "accidentally" bumped by someone else. I guess I will have to make a habit of parking "nose to the line" in the parking lot.
I think you'll find that parking out in the "north 40" is a lot easier than trying to maneuver a Super Duty into a parking space. Plus, you don't have to worry as much about other yahoos bumping your truck.

If only that were true. You know how many times I've parked 50yds away from anything only to come back out and have 3-5 vehicles all parked in a group right around me? Still 50yds from anything else mind you. Well neither do I but it's a lot lol. Strange phenomena.
