I have not seen either especiall NOS for a long time. I just get clean used ones & re-gasket the seal with a piece of inner tube cut to fit & fastened to the door itself. I guess you can say I re-furbish or rebuild the OEM door assy. FBp

vent door
hard to believe after all the new and nos parts available for the 61-66 truck that a replacement vent door isn't readily available.I haven't seen a really good one on a truck for twenty years. Has anyone? thanks

Don't come across the cable vent type too often. Believe referred to as 'Deluxe fresh air heater' type, an option on F100 and F250 Camper special. Although, in looking into Ford assembly options the more one finds there are exceptions.
May want to check w/ the larger Ford truck models, believe they were more common. More knowledgeble FTE member may know.

my 66 has got those vent doors and with no air condtioning thier great during the summer! they really cool it of especially if your wearing sandals. a primitice ammendity i suppose but thier prettey nice.
