'52 F-1

can someone give me the stats of the 1952 F-1 with the 239 flathead? hp, tq, gear ratios, wieght, ect.

Hi Bob, welcome. The following is taken from the '49-51/52 Shop Manual:
HP = 106 @ 3500 rpm
TQ = 194 @ 19-2100 rpm
Std duty 3 spd tranny: 1 = 2.78; 2 = 1.62; 3 = 1.0; R = 3.63
Wt is right around 3150 +/-

thanks, i'm working on restoring one right now, but it is a 4 speed man... hp and tq sound about right though

Ah, that makes a little difference. 4 Spd all spur gears was optional in the F1, but standard in F2 thru F6 incl F6 COE's.

Gears: 1st - 6.4, 2nd - 3.090, 3rd - 1.690, 4th - 1.0/1

As you can see, the gears were similar - just added a granny low gear.

The 4 spd silent synchro wasn't an F1 option, but had the same gear ratios.

Anybody want a 52 F1 ? I got one in great shape, no motor/trans and int is rough.

Sorry Jeff, he's gonna have to back out this sale...His wife overheard him talking about it and immediately diverted his funds. My wife ( a rodder herself ) tried to convince her by showing her what she had done with her 70 ford p/u that she converted from a $100 green latrine to a $3000 pride ride.

As I said. Good project truck, needs resto. I have everything for it, fenders, hood, grill, chrome/steel trim, mirrors, etc.
