91 Ranger DIS problems (low tach)
I am having intermittent dis problems with a 91 2.3L Ranger. The engine light stuck on and the only code I get is saying the spout isn't grounded (connected), checked wiring and everything is still connected. The factory tach started reading low (1000 rpm while it should show about 2000) at the same time the light came on. coils are starting to loose spark intermittently on 2 out of four of their outputs. The truck will barely start and drive (running on two cylinders I assume) usually loose spark after warm up and will come and go while warm. Tach always reads low and am always in limp home mode. any input appreciated asap, thanks.
