good deal??
was presented with a chance todayto buy a 78 f150 it has a 351m
np435 tranny
twospeed transfer np205 i think didnt look real close
a 4" lift
power steering
and of course the front discs
and it has a decent set of wheels (ive got white steel spoke good wheels but a little boring)
im thinking steel all the goodies slap it back together with my old parts and sell it get a load of good mods for a teeny tiny price.

i just glanced under the truck but i think it bolted to the trans.
i wish it was divorced i would love to get a gearvendors under drive stick it between them and be able to split gears while crawling would have to figure out how to have it engage under 20 mph though.

i would but funds are tight so for the time bein im just goonna be happy gettin rid of the single speed transfer (no more backing up to disengage the 4x4) an i am trying to save some cash to get my 390 put back together

Yeah,
I am in the funds boat too, but the expensive part is behind you if you get the 205, high dollar case around here. Oh, and I searched... 19 items with out any instruction to checking kingpins, do you check them like balljoints?

I may change mine over to 4 wheel, a buddy of mine has the tranny, front axle, and transfer case I can get cheap. Just got to get drive shafts, and a few other parts.
