Ken Payne how is that do-it-yourself bed liner holding up?

Anyone that has put in one of these herculiner d-it-yourself kits can respond, is it worth it, or worth the dough to go get a nice spray in?

Gotta know!

I have the Herculiner. For non slip surface it's great. For heavy duty use it isn't. I think the problem is that it is rather thin compared to the spray in coatings. It is possible to nick the stuff off if you're not careful. I think the spray in would hold up better to abuse. If I were to do it again, I would just leave the bed alone and not use any liner.

No liner! Well I hope your not one of those guys that tells the load dude at Home Depot "Please be careful not to scratch the bed of my superduty truck!"
I have a rihno liner (SP?) and it will nick to if you get after it with a shovel. (unloading two yards of sand/dirt) I would like to see an indestructable liner. The plastic ones seem to be more durable than the sprayin but, stuff slides on the plastic ones.

I've got a Line-X Liner (see Gallery at left) which works great. The Line-X material has a harder surface than that of the Rhino Liners and is reported to be harder to nick. I haven't gone after it with a shovel yet, but have tossed metal angle iron into the bed without worry or damage.

Good stuff...
