Warn Trans4mer Grille Guard
Howdy all, I have a quick question to ask. I don't mean to sound like a girl or anything, but I am no expert on what does and doesn't match. First off, I have a 1997 F-150 4x4 Lariat. It is white with tan on the bottom and around the wheel wells as well as the bumper. The frame around the lights is white as well. Now I was wondering if anybody would have any suggestions to me getting either a chrome or black grille guard from Warn. I need the winch on my truck, seeing that I have to periodically take my dad's truck to go get my buds out of the mud with his winch. I have a chrome tool box in the bed, and I want a chrome grille guard but they are a good bit more expensive than the black, and chrome is notorious for rusting as well. I'm in high school, and here your truck has to look good and catch an eye or you're not cool. If anyone has a suggestion on how the make the F-150 more beautiful than it already is, let me know! - DRP

i prefer black myself, i have thet very brand of grill guard for my truck, just too cold out to put it on right now. it sounds like chrome would be the way to go for your truck. if you dont see salty winters, rust shouldnt be as much of a problem for you. just keep it clean and wax it often and it should stay nice. i see salt here in central ohio, so i went with black, i also have black tube sidestep rails.

lol in my school just having a truck is cool (or they hate you....lol) I wish a bit more respect was put on what kind of vehicle you drive, and that people respected the trucks a bit more!!! lol cant help ya out on the cowpusher, but they do look cool, and work wonders when pushing people out of stucks, or that guy in his little civic ahead of you that wont go even tho the light is green......
