I have a '01 250 SD.....I have replaced the factory head light bulbs with PIAA super white's...I have replaced my corner lenses with APC's clear lenses with amber bulbs...My question is does any kno where i can get clear clearance lights...or at least a company that makes them...thanks
Well, as I suspected, Truck-Litetm is the O.E.M.
Here is what I found. I'm pretty sure this is them, but it appears that clear is not an option. Call or e-mail them. Unless it's a D.O.T. issue, I don't see why they don't offer them already. As long as you get the amber #194 bulbs. They (aftermarket manufacturers) have everything else in clear now. Maybe they can atleast tell you where to look.
The PIAA bulbs cost me $62....they make the 55/50 bulb into a 115/110 bulb....i thought it was a load of crap but man you can def. tell the difference....all cars flash their lights like i have my high's on....then when i flash them back they wish they never flashed me to start with...haha...thanks for you help...
