Have any of you installed heated seats into your truck that you got from a junk yard? Found a truck that I am seriously thinking about picking up and the only thing is that she doesn't have heated seats. Just curious as to the extent of mods needed to put them in(fuses, wiring, bolts, etc). Nice to have when you're up north....

You don't have to buy a heated seat from a junker. You can add a heating element yourself. Some plug into the 12V (cheap), others hard wired and more like the oem (more $$).

I remebered seeing something. Thought you might find it interesting.
