I think I broke something.....
If I take off and put my foot into it, it shifts normal....speedo still doesn't work until 2nd gear though.
I did test the anti lock and the tires locked up, so that is definatenly not working correct.
Did I tear the guts outta the tranny AND screw up my ABS???
BTW, 1999 SD 4x4 V-10 w/ 48K miles....Any guesses???

Powerstroke,
Thanks for the reply...is that an electrical connection or is it a vacuum line?
Vinny
Unscrew it and unplug it, then opposite for the install.
But, once after hitting a pile of iron ore rock one day mine did the same thing, a rock had jarred it loose. All I did was disconnect it, clean it and reinstalled it.
Might work - try it.
I wasn't sure which connection was which so I unplugged, cleaned all of the connections I could find. I think there was 3.
I HAVE GOT TO GET A MANUAL!!!!
Still have the same problem...Its in the shop right now and he thinks it a bad speedo sensor. Said the ABS and shift points are all tied together. You guys got it right!
Vinny
Thanks all,
I HAVE GOT TO GET A MANUAL!!!!
You are blessed, for you have seen the light.
Manuals are hard to find, but worth the effort. I am particularly enjoying the V10 with a 6spd and 4.30 gears. Believe it or not, my rear tires still have some tread on them (I will fix that, however).
