I would get it checked out before you drive it too much. I think that Ford can hook it up to diagnostics and read more into it than just getting the code. Getting it checked could mean the difference between a repair and a whole new tranny. Just my thoughts...

Yea i guess it's not under warranty anymore huh... Yea FORGET Ford then - mines still warranty so that was my first thought. I guess that the best thing would be to get a hold of your aftermarket warranty - it's either that or... $$$
