I am new on here. I am considering buying a supercrew xlt 4x4 in june. My question is this, my brother sells at a blue oval certified dealership, i am eligible for the d-plan. I don't trust him(another story all together) how much is the discount? I heard somewhere that it is 4% under invoice, is this correct?. The truck stickers at 35 and change, my brother said that I could get about 6 grand off msrp is this about right? I would appreciate any help. Also has anyone got gas mileage figures for the new 5.4 thanks.
my dad works at the local ford dealer. He recently bought an 03 Superduty crewcab sport and he got about 7 grand off the invoice with his discounts and rebates.
Something else to think about, my dad actually was able to get the super duty for about 3k less than the f150 supercrew. His S/D has the 5.4 and he is currently getting 13 mpg out it with a little under 4,000 on the clock.
Thanks for the reply, the super duty is just way more than I need, actually, I really dont need a 4x4 either, but I want one just the same. There aren't any rebates here on the supercrews, so I am just playing a waiting game for now.
The A/D plan price is printed on the invoice. You get to see that invoice, and that is the price you pay. You can calculate for yourself how much of a discount it is off of invoice (4% is pretty close I think).
A SuperCrew witha sticker of $35,000 would have a D-Plan price of right around $30,000. If there are any rebates in effect at the time of delivery, then you'd get those as well. Like wbarber said, the exact D-Plan price is printed on every invoice, and the dealer must give you a copy of it (a requirement of the program).
