Turbo replacement
I have a 1995 DRW 350 with a powerstroke. This truck has a lot of miles on it and I am wondering if the turbo should be replaced. What does one cost and what brand should I get? The miles are at least 425,000. I say at least because at 399,999.9 it goes back to 300,000. The truck is totally stock. I am also wondering if it has a bad glow plug relay or glow plugs or maybe injectors. I have only owned the truck for the last 50,000 miles. On a cold early morning start(30F or less) it will not start unless it has been plugged in for about an hour.
Another question is what causes the HPOP to go dry? Two times I have cranked on it for about 15 seconds she quit pumping fuel. Put oil in the HPOP and she fires right up. I thank anyone and everyone for their suggestions or answers.
