Instument Gauges quit
I live In Canada Alberta Edmonton area. I have had my Guages quit on the right side of the dash. Only when it is good and cold and I am travilling on the Highway about 110km or so speed wise. It will do it five miles down the road or so, sometimes they come on again but mostly stay off. The tack quits, the water temp, and the trans temp. The check engine light comes on when these gauges quit. I than let the truck sit at work or home shut off for awhile and every thing is normal. The truck does not quit when this happens and as long as I don't go fast on the highway it won't do it. Happened last year 2003 Feb. and now in 2004 winter never had a problem in summer. I had mentioned it to my dealer last year but it was not a big concern to me at that time. Just trying to find out if more are having that problem. Other than that love my truck. I even have air bags for suspention all four corners.
