Digital gauges ?
Any one tried those daul digital gauges with the EGT and Boost
It says something about new surface mounting technology for the micro sensor. Does this mean that you don't have to drill the exhaust manifold and if not is at as accurate as one that you do drill and tap?

I'm not exactly sure about what your looking for but what i run is digital and much easier to use than an analog gauge.
I run the BD x-monitor. It measures: EGT's, boost pressure and trans temp .
It also has programable alarms for all 3 . Mounts nice and tidy w\o pods all over the place.
Log on to bd-power.com and click on Ford (duh) and scroll down to the gauges part.
Not the cheapest but very sanno. Mine cost $800 or $900 installed including custom painting of pillar module to match my interior.
Any reputable diesel performance shop carries BD products and can get that for you.

Thanks I'll check it out. but the one I found on line was a 2 in one SPA Design, DG200. It looks easy enough to install myself but it said something about surface mounting of the micro processor for the EGT and I was wondering just how accurate that could be.
