Alright, I looked under my Bronc today and was wondering how to remove the plastic strip that goes under the bumper, kinda like a louver or like a stock front body kit, but stock. Anyways, it looked like it was held on with massive rivets, is that what these babies are, or are they something different, how do I remove them, think it would look better if this thing was gone!
It's your front spoiler, you should keep it around, it helps deflect the air underneith the truck. In other words, helps MPGs helps with cooling the engine, and makes the truck more airodynamic.
You didn't buy a Bronco for gas mileage did you? Take that piece of crap off your truck and while you're under there take the front sway bar off. You don't need that either. Use a Dremel Tool with cutting disk to get cut the plastic tabs. It should take about 10 minutes or less. Good luck.
More flex if you take it off. You get alot more body roll, which is good or bad depending on your opinion. It is good for people who go off road. If you plan on staying on the road, I would keep it on.
My buddy drives a wrangler and took his off the day he drove it off the lot. fun to ride in... strange to drive if you arent used to it.
i dont do much off roading bc i cant trust my bronco right now with the engine but i will be doing some when i get it worked out so its better for me to keep it on but how much off roading do you have to do to take it off
I don't take mine on trails much but I do run the beaches here in Maryland and it's helps out a ton! I drive 50 miles to work and it gave me a better highway ride as well. You will notice a difference but it's all positive if you ask me. Toss that piece of crap out. You don't need it unless you tow a big boat or something really heavy.
How much body roll did you get when you took your sway bar off? I have always wanted to do it but I am afraid of having all that body roll taking tight corners.

94Bronco58,
What kind of MPG's you get with it on? My 96 w/5.8 without it gets 11mpg (no matter how you slice it) 'Course i gotta heavy feet
Im getting around 12-13 around town, I don't floor it too often, unless I really need to or get the urge to, but thats with the FIPK and the Flowmaster, before I was getting 10-11 around town
You know, you'll also gain a couple "appearance inches", meaning the truck will look a little taller in the front. I'm gonna ditch the whole thing and build a stout pre-runner with winch mount
Yeah, that was also something I was hoping to achieve, it looks too low stock, planning on getting a 4" lift as soon as I can get the money.
The rivets on mine are metal, or at least they look metal, any suggestions
