2.5" lift
I have located some rear lift blocks at Autozone ans Some from coil springs that will give me about 2.5" of lift. springs are $116.00 in JC WHITTANY and lift blocks are $30
I will be doing this to my 78! Anyone see a potential problem????/

Are the blocks the Aluminum ones with the 1/2" u-bolts? These are made to lower s-10's and rangers, not for lifting real trucks. They will most likely crack and could cause catostrophic failure. Just imagine your axle coming free of the springs a 70mph. Scary

I would stay away from the blocks too. You can get a good set of add-a-leafs for the rear for not much more at JC Whitney, and it will be alot more safe. i put the add-a-leafs on my Bronc and they work GREAT!
